Fool’s Overture – Supertramp

This is one of the greatest songs in the history of rock music. Played by Roger Hodgson and an orchestra. The song has been given several interpretations. There is a part where you can listen to probably the most famous speech given by Sir Winston Churchill during World War II. You can listen to it and read the transcript HERE.
This is the most famous part of this speech, the last sentences are included in the song: (min. 2.30)

“We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender,…”

It’s a long song but it is also worth it. Hope you enjoy it.
